I meant to post some pictures over the weekend, but its been a little rough. Trying get the boys back in the routine of everything has been a little tough, but I think we are almost there. Jacob is doing very well. He seems very comfortable and even rolled over on his stomach yesterday for a little bit with no problem. Kyle has been pretty fussy, but I am hoping that means his teeth are about to come in...they seem to be bothering him big time. It'll probably take the rest of the week to fully get settled back in, but its not too bad. :)
We take Jacob back to the Heart Clinic at Texas Children's so they can remove his stitches (sutures...whatever you call them.) Hopefully it won't be too painful. The ones that closed the holes for the chest tubes are in there really tight! I'm sure he'll be fine though, he always seems to get over things pretty quickly. I'm still amazed by how fast he seems to be bouncing back from such a major surgery. He is such a strong little boy, makes me proud. :)
Here's a couple of pictures I took over the weekend.
This is Jacob hanging out in his chair. You can barely see it, but Daddy gave him a little baby mohawk during his bath the night before. Adorable. In the picture below he's hanging out on his playmat on the first night home. He tried to roll over that first night, but got halfway there and thought better of it.
Here's some of Kyle, hanging out in his swing and playing in one of the walkers. :)
