We just left the hospital. It feels so good to be going home! Everyone at the hospital was really amazing. Very sweet and informative. They also have tons of things for the kids while they are in there. They had a "fun cart" that came by with lots of little toys and coloring books and things on it, and sno-cones one day. Another day there were a couple of volunteers that stopped by with crafts, and of course Project Linus. Totally amazing!
We are thankful for all the doctors, nurses, surgeons, and all the support staff that made Jacob's surgery and recovery a speedy success. We are blessed to be so close to such an amazing hospital.
Thanks to all our family and friends for their support and prayers, and those of complete strangers. Like Alex said after hearing that everyone at Grandma and Grandpa's church was praying for Jacob, "God heard our prayers and told everyone." He did, and we praise Him for his glory. We are truly blessed.
