Jacob is awake more and more everyday. Its great! Right now he is watching the Disney Channel and playing with his pacifier. Last night his peditrician came to check on him again, and brought him a little ducky, so now he has Mr. Cowboy Ducky!! Dr. Goldberg is really awesome, he is a great doctor and very caring. He said everything looked good. :)

Mr. Cowboy DuckyHis pain meds have been reduced to Motrin and Tylenol w/codeine as needed, and so far he hasn't had any since last night. He woke up about 3:00 this morning, took his meds and ate his whole bottle for Daddy (Mommy was sleeping.) He burped well, had a wet diaper, then went back to sleep.
He woke up again at 6:00, and make a poopy diaper!! I was never so excited to hear him grunting, I was so happy. I changed his diaper and the nurse brought me his bottle and he ate the whole thing with no problems. He burped well and is just hanging out watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (he loves this show.) So, hopefully between the last two full feedings and his wet/poopy diaper making, they won't put in the feeding tube. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and probably won't know until the doctors do thier rounds here soon.
