Hanging out in ICU for right now. Just went down and signed in to the Ronald McDonald House and got all my stuff set up, so I can get some sleep tonight because Jacob will be moving down to his private room tomorrow morning, unless something comes up but he has been doing great all day.
He woke up around 5:00pm and ate some of his bottle then went right back to sleep. He just woke up again about 30 minutes ago and ate some more. They are weaning him off his oxygen and slowing down the frequency of pain meds because he seems to be in very little pain. He's handling it like a trooper! His blood pressure has been a little high, but they think its because he is dehydrated, so they gave him some extra fluids and some medicine to help bring it down. Nothing serious, just something to watch.
I'll post some more pictures later when I get back to my room, including some that have all his wires and incision covered for the squeamish. :)
